Beltz Barnyard FAQs
where are you located?
We are in a conveniently "close-to-town but feels-like-country" spot, just west of Kalamazoo, MI. Convenient shopping, errand-running or dining is a simple 10 minute drive to West Main, Stadium Drive or Westnedge Ave. while the kids are enjoying the barnyard!
how do I sign up?
Event & camp registrations are treated like "products" on this site, handled via PayPal/credit card payment online.
will my child be safe?
At Beltz Barnyard, our mission is to provide a safe, creative & peaceful learning environment. Our animals are vet-checked & only introduced to our guests after being handled & "temperament-tested" extensively by our family. Fencing & structures are well-maintained; the barnyard is cleaned weekly & we strive to use materials that are natural, recycled & environmentally-friendly. Kids are fully supervised throughout their time at Beltz Barnyard, especially during check-in & check-out, ensuring their safety. Our camper-to-leader ratio will never exceed 6:1. We design camps & events to complement the qualities of those we serve & will make every effort to maintain your trust.
Although kids are kids & accidents can happen, we live here & care for the space like home...because to us it is. You are always welcome to stick around, explore or stop in for a tour!
a liability waiver/photo release form will be emailed 2 weeks prior to camp
